POSITION TITLE: Business Manager
The Business Manager at Wellness Partners Clinic will play a pivotal role in financial planning and ensuring efficient revenue and accounting cycle management and reporting, client retention and financial sustainability. This position requires a highly proactive and organized individual with strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: At least 3 years of private sector business management experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting.
Skills and Abilities:
- Financial Management: Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, profitability analysis, revenue cycle management, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Strategic & Business Analysis: Ability to analyze financial and business data, evaluate trends, conduct financial modeling, prepare business cases, and provide data-driven recommendations that support organizational strategy and growth.
- Business Development: Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, evaluate new markets and service lines, develop strategic partnerships, strengthen corporate relationships, and support organizational expansion.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams; manage cross-functional initiatives; influence stakeholders; foster collaboration; and drive organizational performance.
- Communication & Executive Presentation: Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial and business information effectively to executive leadership, external partners, and other stakeholders.
- Technology & Business Systems: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, financial reporting systems, and business intelligence tools.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify opportunities, evaluate alternatives, manage risk, and implement effective business solutions.
- Project & Performance Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, establish performance goals, monitor progress through KPIs, and consistently achieve organizational objectives.
- Healthcare Business Knowledge (PREFERRED): Knowledge of healthcare finance, insurance reimbursement, revenue cycle management (REQUIRED), healthcare regulations, and private healthcare business operations.
- Professionalism & Confidentiality: Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality while upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Lead the organization’s financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, profitability analysis, and long-term financial sustainability.
- Oversee financial reporting by ensuring timely preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Manage the organization’s revenue cycle by monitoring billing, collections, accounts receivable, reimbursement performance, and revenue optimization initiatives to maximize financial performance.
- Develop financial models and business cases to support investment decisions, capital projects, pricing strategies, new services, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Ensure financial compliance by maintaining adherence to accounting standards, financial policies, regulatory requirements, and coordinating internal and external audits.
- Identify and implement financial improvement initiatives that enhance profitability, strengthen financial controls, and improve organizational efficiency without compromising quality of care.
Business Performance
- Develop and monitor organizational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and executive dashboards that measure financial, operational, and strategic performance.
- Analyze organizational performance trends and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, productivity, and long-term sustainability.
- Provide financial and business intelligence to support executive decision-making through data analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Business Development
- Identify and evaluate business growth opportunities, including new service lines, corporate partnerships, strategic alliances, and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Lead the financial evaluation and business planning for new projects, investments, and expansion initiatives, including market research, feasibility assessments, and return-on investment analyses.
- Support contract development and strategic partnerships through financial analysis, pricing recommendations, and negotiation support.
Strategy & Executive Leadership
- Serve as the CEO’s strategic business advisor by providing financial insight, business analysis, and recommendations to support organizational goals and executive decision making.
- Support development, implementation, and monitoring of the organization’s strategic plan, ensuring financial resources and business priorities remain aligned with strategic objectives.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives and special projects assigned by executive leadership.
Leadership
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Finance and Accounting team, including staff development, performance management, mentoring, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
