Job Title: SASA Gender Officer

Location: Monrovia, Liberia

Reports to: Program Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Duration: 12 months

Job Summary:

The SASA Gender Officer will be responsible for providing technical support to the program team in the implementation of the SASA program in Liberia. The officer will work closely with the program team to develop and implement strategies to promote gender equality and prevent violence against women and girls.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the program team in the implementation of the SASA program
• Develop and implement strategies to promote gender equality and prevent violence against women and girls
• Work closely with the program team to develop and implement program plans and activities
• Conduct training and capacity building for program staff and partners
• Monitor and evaluate program progress and provide recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to promote gender equality and prevent violence against women and girls

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in program management and implementation
• Strong technical knowledge of gender equality and violence against women and girls
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and build partnerships with stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
